ABOUT ME

Headshot 2024.jpeg

I believe the key to successful therapy is building a warm, trusting, and non-judgmental relationship where my clients feel seen and heard. Feeling safe to explore vulnerable thoughts and feelings with me is primary. It is through active and collaborative conversations that clients achieve a deeper understanding of themselves,  which in turn paves the way for growth and meaningful change.

There are many things that draw us to therapy. Some arrive struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or career uncertainty. Some struggle to manage  the roller coaster of emotions inherent in the peri- and postpartum experience. Others feel stuck in patterns that don't serve them, while others are curious to discover who they are uniquely meant to be. Whatever your goals and challenges, I welcome the opportunity to see whether I may be a good fit for your journey.

I have worked for over a decade as a therapist in the Bay Area, with vast experience serving children, adults and couples.

Education:

Masters from UC Berkeley School of Social Work

Advanced Clinical Training:

  • Psychoanalytic and Jungian Analytic Psychology Therapy

  • Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT)

  • Mindfulness and Compassion-Focused Therapy (MBCBT)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
